Ministry of Economic Development

The Ministry of Economic Development of the Rostov region is the executive authority of the Rostov region which is carrying out functions on realization in the territory of the Rostov region of long-term public economic policy in the sphere of strategic planning, the analysis and forecasting of social and economic development of the Rostov region, introduction and application of program and target planning, investment activities and the state investments, innovative development, efficiency of activity of executive authorities of the Rostov region, development of small and medium business, interregional and international cooperation, foreign economic activity, tourism, economic development of municipal units of the Rostov region.

The ministry is executive authority of the Rostov region on regulation of a contract system in the sphere of purchases of goods, works, services for ensuring the state needs of the Rostov region.

The Ministry of Economic Development of the Rostov region carries out the activity according to the Decree of the Government of the Rostov region of 12.08.2016 No. 568 "About the Adoption of the Provision on the Ministry of Economic Development of the Rostov Region".

The public autonomous institution of the Rostov region "Regional information and analysis center" is under authority of the ministry.
