The Don gastronomic specialist programmes are presented on the All-Russian MICE DAY in Rostov
Within the All-Russian MICE DAY - the forum devoted to development of the business tourism in the country which took place in the Don capital the presentation of seven tourist zones of the Rostov region on which told about their tourist appeal and gastronomic features took place.
So, in the tourist zone "Upper Don" of guests treated "kokhviy on - Cossack" with oseledets and cucumbers with honey. The treat was prepared by the staff of the Don Cossack Guard center.
In the tourist's zone "Big Rostov" it is presented assorted pastries and confectionery of kitchen of the Don Armenians and also mini-pies of times of the Great silk way and the Bosporsky kingdom.
In "the Don Priazovye" it was possible to try rasstegai with a pike perch, rasstegais with cabbage and caviar and a pike perch in batter in a Taganrog way.
It should be noted that the gastronomic component became feature of all three MAYS-days to Dona. So, besides the presentations of tourist's zones and the Don specialist programmes (local cuisine) within the forum, guests could walk in "restaurant mile" of Levberdon – to visit the ethnographic restaurant complex "Cherkassk Village", the museum of winemaking and Don moonshining, hotel "Petrovsky Mooring", "Sultan SPA", Petrovsky Mooring and Old Mill restaurants.
In the program of events of a forum - visit of the Azov restaurant of historical kitchen "Rampart", in which menu the historical dishes of times of Peter I prepared from local products according to unique recipes. Giving of dishes at the same time is dramatized - waiters take out several courses of dishes, and in the same time the slow story is kept by "queen Ekaterina".
Let's add that all participants of a forum - and those who were in Rostov earlier, and those who for the first time visited the Don capital, - noted the central market, or as residents of Rostov tell "an old market". Not casually the adviser to the head of Rostourism Dmitry Gorin called it "the gastronomic museum" and advised all participants of a forum to visit there and to regale on local products.
